What is this?

Sex, queerness, and sex workers’ rights are complicated issues. This blog looks into the world of all things queer, adult, and kinky. My goal is to normalize discussions about leather, queer eroticism, sex work, and adult content. And I want to help you, dear reader, keep tabs on the world we work and live in.

Who runs this?

My name is Ana Valens. You might have seen my work on the Daily Dot. I write about adult content, sex workers’ rights, and the queer community for a living, with a particular focus on trans rights. I’m also a sex worker and make kinky, erotic games. I’m super passionate about all things sex, public sex, leather, whatevs, and so this is my opportunity to explore these issues in detail and on a personal level.

For the record: This newsletter isn’t affiliated with The Daily Dot or anywhere I write for. It’s just me, on my own, giving my own perspective.

I’m interested in a paid subscription. How does it work?

Subscriptions are purely optional and intended to support me and my work. You don’t need to pay to read, although if you’re interested in accessing my Substack’s archives, you may want to sub.

Subscriptions cost $5.99 per month or $69.99 per year. Every subscriber receives:

  • Early access to new posts, one week in advance

  • Full archives of my Not Safe For Who? content, and

  • The ability to post comments and interact with fellow subscribers

There’s also a special subscription option called “Sex-Haver.” For $75 per year, you’ll receive all the perks above along with a special thank you message at the end of each post. Conversely, you may be eligible to waive the subscription fee if you are unable to afford it.

For more information, read this blog post detailing the full process along with some FAQs.
